At Southgate we aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment to teach your children about faith and the Bible.  The program runs during school term time catering for 3 years to primary school.

Rock Pool (Primary K-6)

Our aim in this age group is that the children will develop a deeper relationship with Jesus.  They will get to know Him as a friend, whilst starting to understand the power of prayer, our Father’s love for us, the richness of the Word and the empowering work of the Holy Spirit.   We also expect that as we get to know Jesus, He will teach us to love those around us. So part of our program will definitely involve building relationships with each other and we will have some crazy fun doing it!   During school term, children will be led to another room part way through the worship service.

Kids' Club (3 years to Preschool)

In Kids' club, we want to introduce the children to Jesus building relationships with the youngest members of our church.   We also want to introduce them to the many foundational stories in the bible in a way that fosters a desire to know more. This may include the use of songs, stories, DVDs, games and craft.
 

Creche

There is a crèche area with comfortable seating and toys provided in the café area where the sermons can be heard.
Nursing parents with toddlers can use this space and are responsible for their children.
