Local Community Service
Southgate serves the community in various ways including:
- Mainly Music
- Little Taks Playgroups
- Serving Calwell High School
Overseas Service
Southgate supports a number of people overseas through its member churches.
The Alliance Church Calwell supports people through the Christian and Missionary Alliance serving in Thailand, Taiwan, East Africa, Peru, Israel, Fiji, Bali and Papua.
Brindabella Baptist Church directly supports missionary teams in Thailand and Peru, and missionaries in training via YWAM.
Short term mission trips run from time to time.
